For sale: two rare MB Elektronik MB 215 microphones.

I just tested two MB Elektronik MB 215 dynamic microphones (200 ohms) on my Nagra VI; both have exactly the same sound. These microphones are quite rare to find, with a frequency response of 50?18,000 Hz?I really like their sound.

They remind me of a ribbon microphone, like the Beyer M160?they have a very smooth sound.

The MB 215 is a vintage German microphone manufactured by Mikrofonbau Obrigheim / MB Elektronik, the company associated with Herbert Haun that would later become MBHO (Mikrofonbau Haun Obrigheim). Current sources therefore commonly market it under the names MBHO MB 215, MB Elektronik MB 215, or MBHO (Haun) MB 215.
